throwback thursday: summertime in salzburg

22 May 2014

This time last year, I was still living in Salzburg, Austria. It is a beautiful, beautiful little city, especially around Christmas and in the spring and summer months, when the gardens are in full bloom, the lakes are there to dip your feet in and the walks along the Salzach could go on forever.

I was truly lucky to live in such a place for a few years, and although I don't miss it very much, it's only because I am loving London and I felt that I had my fair share of time there.

As the weather is starting to tentatively inch towards summer here in London, I get hit with nostalgia of all the summers before this one. I've been so fortunate to have so many memorable ones, and I hope this year will be another to add to the list.

  1. These are such amazing pictures, Miho! You're making me miss Salzburg and I didn't even live there ;) The Salzach is so blue! And Mirabell Gardens! Sigh, such a charming and beautiful place. You are so lucky to have lived there. xo

  6. Absolutely beautiful photos! I'm so jealous too...I wanted to go to Austria so bad when I lived in Europe but I never got around to it. I love the Sound of Music so I definitely wanted to do that tour in Salzburg, and I wanted to see the Christmas markets there because I heard that they are wonderful!
