Although there aren't many street food vendors out on a Sunday, there are plenty of good places to eat and drink in the area (we popped into Honest Burgers, a review will be up shortly!), as well as tempting crêpe stands and the ever popular Hummingbird Bakery.
If you're visiting London or are in the area (particularly on a sunny day, as with all places), it's a must-see spot and great for street photography.
Adorable. This is why London will always be one of my favorite cities. It's a bit more eclectic but I also love the markets in Camden Town. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Portobello road. It's such a beautiful part of London. My ex boyfriend and I went a couple of years ago for my Birthday and had such a lovely time in the area. We went to a stunning little restaurant for lunch where there was a deal for pizza and a glass of wine for £10, such a bargain and was so delicious! It was such hot weather too, around the end of May... I haven't been since but these photos are making me want to go back.

This looks so so so so fun. I love markets/open air vendors like this and the colors are just stunning. The jewelry! The books! I need them! Also that antique store looks PERFECT.
ReplyDeleteI've not been to Portobello market for years! Probably 10 years, isn't that awful! It's such a interesting place though and I love the colours. Must go again soon :)

Love Portobello road on a Sunday, so much more relaxed, and like you say places to see/eat.
ReplyDeleteDid you go into the live music tent down at the bottom? Well I say tent, more of a room under the flyover bridge!

I love Portobello Road but it's true that when it's too busy it's impossible enjoy a nice little walk there or take a photo of the colourful houses without someone photobombing! Apart from that, it's such a dreamy area :) xx
