st james's park

After our time was cut short at The Rum Kitchen, we weren't ready for the evening to be over, so we opted to make the most of the warm weather and went for a walk in St. James's Park. I had shamefully never been there before, so I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was!

The three of us had a lovely time wandering around at that perfect time when the sun is setting and lighting everything up in a dreamy haze, we spent most of the time in fits of laughter and talking about things you end up talking about when you've been friends for 12 years. Real friendship never gets old!

    St James Park was probably my most visited park when I was living in London, it's so beautiful! Actually when Simon came all the way down to London from Newcastle for our first date I took him to St James for a little wander .. I wanted to show him that London wasn't all concrete and busy people :) x

    St James' Park is one of the prettiest parks in London. I love taking walks along the lake!

    These are such lovely photos of St. James' Park :) Such a wonderful little retreat right in the centre of the city. I love the rosy glow you've captured on the buildings at sunset!

    Reunions without a set schedule are always the best, especially when you're able to meander and just go with the flow. Looks like you had a wonderful stroll through the park :)
