I was blogging irregularly at first, but from around last August onwards, I've posted every other day almost without fail, making this my 164th post. Crazy!
The time has flown by, I've made some wonderful virtual blogging friends, and your support, comments and general loveliness has made me even more passionate about this little hobby of mine.
Now, I've always been on the fence with giveaways and such. I'm still not convinced that it's the best way to say a big thank you as I will only be able to give a gift to one of you, but until I can think of a better way to show my appreciation this will have to do - at least you're in with a chance! I hope you don't mind.
I've decided to do a cookbook-themed giveaway because:
1) My blog is often centred around food, there's no denying it
2) You can impress your family and friends with summertime dinner parties
3) Cookbooks are pretty and look nice in your kitchen
4) If all else fails, they can serve as a coffee table read so you can pretend to guests that you cook.
We all have different likes and dislikes when it comes to food, so I thought that I would offer a choice of 4 cookbooks to choose from, depending on what takes your fancy.
I've gone to all 4 restaurants/cafés that produce these books, and can tell you that they are all excellent.
Jerusalem by Ottolenghi
You can read about my brunch visit to one of his restaurants, Nopi. Ottolenghi has a hugely popular following for a reason, and his cookbooks are also raved about. Healthy, hearty, unique and delicious.
Comptoir Libanais by Tony Kitous and Dan Lepard
I was won over by their food when I first tried Comptoir Libanais, and the prospect of being able to whip up the exotic flavours of Lebanese cooking at home is exciting - and perfect for summer, in my opinion.
Polpo by Russell Norman
We recently went to Polpo for the first time (blog post coming in a few days!) and were thoroughly impressed. This cookbook, along with outstanding reviews, looks like a real beauty to have on your bookshelf. Their Italian tapas-style dishes are sure to impress, and who doesn't like compliments?
The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook by Tarek Malouf
This is the ultimate cookbook for the sweet toothed foodie - if you're not from the UK, you might not know of the HB, but it's an incredibly popular place where their cupcakes and other sweet treats are to die for. You really can't go wrong with a book like this, even if you end up just flicking through it for fun.
Very basic giveaway guidelines:
1) Open internationally, but please ask for permission from a parent or guardian if you are under the age of 18.
2) The only obligatory thing you need to do to enter, is to leave a comment telling me which one you'd like, and a contact twitter or email. (You need to tick this off in the Rafflecopter widget below.)

This will be open for 2 weeks, and I will update this entry with the winner, and also contact you via twitter or email so please keep your eyes peeled!
