Read: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins & Us by David Nicholls. Having read that The Girl on the Train was reminiscent of Gone Girl, my interest was piqued, but quite honestly, it wasn't as good. It was an easy page-turner and entertaining enough, but it was lukewarm at best. Having loved One Day, I was curious to see what I thought of Us, and it proved to me that I do thoroughly enjoy David Nicholls' writing. The comedic aspect and the unexpectedly poignant moments in the novel are exactly what I liked about One Day, so this one did not disappoint.
Speaking of books, Maybeldner.com (a fantastic site for all things London) is launching their Book Club in March (first book is Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, which I was about to start reading anyway), and I will be their writer for their May Book Club feature - join in the fun!

Watched: I know it only came out at the very end of the month, but how can I not say House of Cards? It is definitely one of my all time favourite series, and this season seems like it will be just as good as the first two. If you haven't joined the House of Cards fan club yet, you are missing out big time.

Ate: I may be biased, but I think that the gourmet dinner E cooked for his and our good friend's birthdays was the best meal I've had this past month. Although I ate out too much in February and had some great food, it was a special highlight for me!

Purchased: A miracle happened the other day - I briefly walked into Zara for all of 5-10 minutes, killing time before meeting a friend, and found a gorgeous, real leather jacket on sale (in my size) for £29.99. I had been looking for the perfect leather jacket for so long, and although I was looking for a black one (which I will hopefully still find at some point), this one was a dark enough brown that would go with most things and exactly what I was looking for, at a ridiculously low price for real, quality leather. That was a good day.

Clicked : Quaintrelle by Setarra. Although she posted some fantastic posts this month, my favourite was probably her day in Barcelona visiting Parc Guell - she has a way of documenting her adventures so vividly, with honestly and sincerity and also a side of humour which I love. You can read her fun Q&A post with me here - add her blog to your reading list, you won't regret it. I've been chatting to her on social media for quite a while now and she's fabulous. I hope we get to meet one day!

Listened: I'm more obsessed with podcasts than ever, but I'll be doing a post on my favourite ones soon - so I'll let you in on a music favourite instead. I recently discovered José González and love his newest album. It's the kind of music I just imagine chilling out to outdoors in the summer, which I obviously cannot wait for!

Wore: It's not a piece of clothing, but I realised that I hadn't even mentioned this despite wearing it every single day since last November. E got me this beautiful initial necklace from Kate Spade (that I gave heavy hints about... or rather, just flat-out requested) for my birthday last year, and I love it more everyday. It's simple, dainty yet not too dainty, and just goes with everything.

Exercised: Breaking news: I've started running again, after a 5 month hiatus. We were both hobbling the day after we went for our first one, but it reminded me of how much I genuinely enjoyed being a regular runner last year and I have started a running routine again. This means that my Kayla Itsines workouts have become supplementary strength training workouts rather than my sole routine, but I think this will suit me. Having done the KI workouts for 5 weeks before starting running again, it surprised me how much my muscles ached after running - a tell-tale sign that the two workouts use entirely different muscles. My aim is to run 2-3 times a week, and fit in a KI workout 1-2 times in between.

Blogged: My favourite post of the month was my evening of cake decorating with Konditor & Cook. I just had such a great time with lovely fellow bloggers, and learnt a few things along the way as well as stuffing myself with sugar with their goodie bag!

Celebrated: E's 31st birthday! I even wrote a cheesy post for it. He does a good job, being a husband to a person with many flaws (but nonetheless charming, right E?).

Cooked: I wasn't quite as good at the cooking thing during February as I was quite busy with work and also ate out a fair amount... but, I did write a review of my current favourite cookbook and I am still loving it!

Thanks so much for reading!
