Niolon

15 August 2013

On our last day in Aix, we went to a nearby seaside town, Niolon. It was small, quaint and one of those places you stick out like a sore thumb if you're not a local. For lunch we had the freshest, plumpest Moules Frites, ice cold rosé, and of course, ice cream. There is nothing like enjoying seafood and wine with a panoramic view of the ocean - this place is known as the Côte Bleue, the blue coast, and you can see why.

The perfect antidote to our hectic but wonderful week. That, and looking forward to our honeymoon in the Maldives in December!

  2. This post has so many of my favourite things - seaside, rose, moules frites! On holiday as a kid I would eat module frites at every meal! You look like you had a wonderful time, and so happy!
